Hi, all. Well, after today I have confirmed that the Experimental
Features in LW 4.0 work on the Alpha Beta (don't know which version) and
LightWave 4.0 Beta Amiga, as well as the Intel Release (and maybe the
pre-release) version.
Here's all the features I've found (and you guys told me about)...
Ctrl-Shift-F1 (from Layout) -- Activate Experimental Features
Crtl-Shift-F2 (from Objects Panel) -- Activates Multi-Object
Single-Envelope morphing. Set up your morph targets as normal.
When setting the envelopes, go to the 1st object, and adjust ONLY
it's envelope. 0-100% is object 1, 101-200% is object 2, ect.
Thanks to Stephen Bailey <sbailey@vinton.com> for this one.
Ctrl-Shift-F3 (from Objects Panel) -- Activates Cel Look Outlines for
current object. Outs a neat-o black border around all objects.
Pretty nice.
Thanks to Paul Davies <pdavies@magnet.com> for this one.
Ctrl-Shift-F2 (from Images Panel) -- Activates Image Field Rendering.
Haven't tried it yet, but I think it is like a feature that is
supposed to be built-in to LW Amiga for VTSAC clips. If you have
Field Rendering active (or maybe not, but I assume that only if
you do), it will also load FIELDS from the image. So if you're
using an image sequence (like VTASC clips), Frame 1 Field 1 will
be rendered on Frame 1 Field 1, and Frame 1 Field 2 of the sequence
will be rendered on Frame 1 Field 2 of the rendered animation.
Thanks to me, since I went through all the control panels
pressing Ctrl-Shift-Fx tring to find these. :)
Have fun!
